Two semi circles make one circle, so if one semi circle has a radius of 6, then one big circle has a diameter of 12pi, and then the length of the rectangle is 6, so the two sides would be 12, to make an equation its 6pi+6pi+6+6

which is 12pi+12, thats the answer

You are baking cookies for your class. There are 23 total students in your class and you have baked 12 cookies. Write and solve
KonstantinChe [14]
(x cookies) / (23 students - (12/2) students) = 2 cookies per student
[x / (23 - 6)] cookies per student = 2 cookies per student
23 students * (2 cookies per students) - 12 cookies = x cookies
The "students" unit cancels
46 cookies - 12 cookies = x cookies
x cookies = 34 cookies

Can someone help me with this?
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

1) 4+5=9.

2)  2+(-6)=-4

3)  -3+(-7)=-10

4)  (-7)+3=-4

5)  9+(-4)=5

6)  -1+4=3

7)  5+(-5)=0

8)  -3+(-6)=-9

Step-by-step explanation:

In the given number lines, rightarrows represent positive integers and leftarrows represent negative integers.

1)

In first number line we have two rightarrows.

Rightarrow from 0-4 = 4

Rightarrow from 4-9 = 5

So, required sum is 4+5=9.

Similarly,

2)

2+(-6)=-4

3)

-3+(-7)=-10

4)

(-7)+3=-4

5)

9+(-4)=5

6)

-1+4=3

7)

5+(-5)=0

8)

-3+(-6)=-9
