I think the death penalty is perfectly fine but it depends on the situation. If a persons robs a house or a store then they shouldn't get the death penalty but if they kill someone, they should be returned the favor. Once a murderer, always a murderer.
It proved the french middle and lower classes were no longer going to be pushed around the high class/government leaders.
D - Failures.
The only attempted british colony in North America before 1600 was Roanoke, Virginia, which was a total failure. England claimed several areas, including Newfoundland, but made no sustainable attempts to colonize them before 1600.
