The pamphlet common sense was significant because when everyone else thought that negotiation between them and Britain was possible Paine did not he highlighted his arguments in simple language so all could understand and relate. He believed the crown was corrupted and hypocrites. He truly felt America had the means and their own rights to form their own government

Answer:

The Common Sense doctrine marks a milestone in history, by not basing political decisions on doctrines based on history, religion, nation, honor or a priori notions, but on criteria endorsed by the experience of human beings and in the reason. Common sense paved the way for the Declaration of Independence of the United States, ratified on July 4 of the same year.

Explanation:

Common Sense is the title of a pamphlet that Thomas Paine published on January 10, 1776 - initially anonymous - during the American Revolution. Freed from any emotional ties to Britain, Paine argued that it was up to America to gain independence and establish a new, democratic system of government based on the principles of human rights. "Common Sense" had a huge success and caused a change of mind in favor of the Patriots.

Fascism vs democracy after ww1
viktelen [127]
Hello

Fascism is a political system in which the state has all the power. All citizens must work for the country and the government. A dictator or another powerful person is the head of such a state. He uses a strong army and a police force to keep law and order. He is often a strong, authoritarian leader who is, at the beginning, admired by many people.

How were airplanes used during World War 1? Select the TWO correct answers.
satela [25.4K]

Answer:

It was also decided that airplanes could only be used for reconnaissance or spying missions. (Villard-227) “The airplane may be all very well for sport, but for the army it is useless” (Quoted in Villard-227) Even by the beginning of the war in 1912, the use of planes in war was still prohibited by the War Office.

The first use of airplanes in World War I was for reconnaissance. The airplanes would fly above the battlefield and determine the enemy's movements and position. One of the first major contributions of airplanes in the war was at the First Battle of the Marne where Allied reconnaissance planes spotted a gap in the German lines. The Allies attacked this gap and were able to split the German armies and drive them back.

The fourteenth amendment was written to protect african americans from laws that tried to take away their rights true or false
NikAS [45]
Hey there! Hello!

I would agree with this statement. The fourteenth amendment has to do with voiding laws/actions that deprive anyone of their constitutional rights, especially members of the African American community. It also has to do with citizenship, defining a citizen of America as anyone who was born on American soil – including African Americans. That citizenship can also not be taken from you as a result.

The fourteenth amendment also covers things like due process clause, equal protection clause, and general fair treatment of every American human being. I encourage you to do your own research on the topic in your spare time, but for now, your answer is True.

Hope this helped you out! Feel free to ask any additional questions if you have any.
