Answer:

Eating proper food with enough nutrients.

Explanation:

Eating healthy is very important for our overall well-being. There are some groceries that are more nutrient than others.

Some of them would be:

Citrus foods -- they are full of vitamin C, which helps produce white blood cells and makes them great fighters when it comes to common cold or flu symptoms. Some of them are: grapefruit, oranges, tangerines, lemons, limes etc.

Garlic -- it's find in almost any household and cuisine. Not only it gives our food amazing smell and taste, it's also a must-have for our health.

Centuries ago, civilizations recognize the value of garlic when it comes to fighting infections. It also helps lower blood pressure and it slows down hardening the arteries. The main compound of garlic, which actually helps immune-system is allicin.

Red bell pepper -- they contain twice as much vitamin C than any citrus fruit. They are rich source of beta carotene. Beside boosting our immune system, it helps maintain a healthy skin, along with our eyes.

Broccoli -- superfood that contains vitamins and minerals. Full of vitamin A, C, E, along with many other antioxidants and fiber.

Ginger -- it helps decrease inflammation and reduces sore throat. Also helps decrease nausea and boosts our metabolism so it has extra benefits when it comes to losing weight in a healthy way.

Green tea -- is rich in flavonoids, which is a type of antioxidant. Why green tea really is nutrient, is because it contains EGCG, another very powerful antioxidant, which is shown to enhance immune function. That's why it should be steamed and not fermented, in order to keep its EGCG. It's also a great source of amino acid L-theanine which products germ-fighting compounds in our T-cells.
