A clinical condition is presented with obvious sings and symptoms that can be seen. These can be observed, measured and tested. Those that do not meet this criteria for diagnosis are unable to be classified and will require further testing and observation. In this case, an open fracture may have several elements that are measurable and observable such as open wound, blood and bone protrusion.
