During the great depression, all citizens had to face different challenges, but minority groups were the ones that suffered the most from this crisis since they were discriminated and their rights were violated more frequently.

For example, unemployment statistics, it can be seen that minority groups had the highest unemployment, likewise, it was difficult for these groups to find basic consumer products and many times they were denied help by different organizations. African-Americans were part of these minority groups, who suffered more violence.
