Answer:

See the answer below

Explanation:

Both water and glucose contain hydrogen and oxygen. However, glucose has carbon in addition to the two elements. A molecule of glucose has 6 carbon, 12 hydrogen, and 6 oxygen atoms while a molecule of water has just 2 atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen.

Both glucose and water are polar molecules.

Water is liquid at room temperature while glucose is a solid at room temperature.

In terms of structures, the overall structure of water is bent while that of glucose may be alpha or beta 6 carbon ring structure.

What pituitary hormone works at the level of the collecting duct to either increase or decrease absorption of water in order to
Karo-lina-s [1.5K]
Antidiuretic hormone (vasopressin) works at the level of the collecting duct to either increase absorption of water in order to maintain plasma volume and thus blood pressure. This hormone is synthesized by special nerve cells of the hypothalamus and then transported to the pituitary gland where the hormone is released from vesicles into the bloodstream. Vasopressin is released in response to extracellular fluid hypertonicity. His functions are to reabsorb water back into the circulation, from the filtrate in the kidney tubules of the nephrons and to constricts arterioles (raises arterial blood pressure).

What does it mean if there are two different alleles for a trait ?
AURORKA [14]

Answer:

The trait is heterozygous.

Explanation:

Heterozygous: "Having two different alleles of a particular gene or genes."

A heterozygous genotype looks like: Rr. The capital R is a dominant allele, and the lowercase r is a recessive allele. These two alleles are not the same (not two dominant alleles or two recessive alleles) meaning that the trait is a heterozygous trait.

The opposite of a heterozygous trait is a homozygous trait, in which both alleles are the same (both dominant or both recessive) and can look like RR or rr (genotype-wise).

How can scientists best use scientific argumentation to evaluate a scientific
Bond [772]

Scientists can best use scientific argumentation to evaluate a scientific claim by developing a hypothesis that explains why the data support the claim (option A).

What is a hypothesis?

A hypothesis is a a tentative conjecture explaining an observation, phenomenon or scientific problem that can be tested by further observation, investigation and/or experimentation.

According to the scientific method, which is the method of discovering knowledge about the natural world based on making falsifiable predictions (hypotheses) and testing them empirically, the following are employed:

 • Asking a question/Making an observation
 • Constructing a hypothesis
 • Testing the hypothesis
 • Analyzing the data
 • Making a conclusion

Therefore, scientists can best use scientific argumentation to evaluate a scientific claim by developing a hypothesis that explains why the data support the claim.

No.3 plzz ...?
Any one
Snowcat [4.5K]

2^n=32

n=5

It doesn't really match up with the options so not sure, my best guess would be either choosing 16 or 4. 16 in case the person calculated as 16 times 2 = 32 and 4 bc its the closest.
