Answer:

CH3CH2CH2OH > CH3Cl > CH2=CH2

Explanation:

Inter molecular forces are bonds or forces between two or more covalent molecules. These molecules can either be polar or non polar depending on the electronegativity differences between the atoms that make up the molecule.

There are 3 types of inter molecular forces namely:

  • Van der waal forces (which is the weakest of them all)
  • permanent dipole
  • Hydrogen bonding (which is the strongest)

CH3CH2CH2OH has the strongest inter molecular force. It contains hydrogen bonding because of the presence of OH group in its molecule.

CH3Cl has permanent dipole between its molecules because of the presence of a strong electronegative element, Chlorine (Cl)

CH2=CH2 has the weakest inter molecular force because it has van der waal forces.

Calculate the following quantity: volume of 1.403 M copper(II) nitrate that must be diluted with water to prepare 575.2 mL of a
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

328 ml

Explanation:

We have given final volume =575.2 ml=0.575 L

Final concentration = 0.8012 M

We know that moles of copper(II) nitrate = final volume ×final concentration =0.8012×.0575=0.4606 moles

We have to find initial volume

So initial volume =\frac{moles\ of \ copper(II)\ nitrate}{initial\ concentration}=\frac{0.4606}{1.403}=0.328L=328ml
