Change the Risk:
-unable to see unsafe conditions and/or unable to judge distances
Changes in Hearing
Change the Risk:
-unable to hear warning or approaching carts and equipment
Altered Neurological function
Change the Risk:
-shaking or tremors can affect balance and increase the risk of falls
-decreased sensation can prevent normal warning signals
Examples: can step on sharp objects and not be aware of injury.
