[D] The renaissance means rebirth. People began to move away from strictly creating art centered around religion and began to create more art centered around mythology and ideas that had been buried for hundreds of years. Not that they stopped creating religious artwork, but they began to expand their thinking and their artistic subjects.

Read the sentence from Life on the Mississippi. He raged and stormed so (he was crossing the river at the time) that I judge it
malfutka [58]
I would say "I judge it made him blind" shows the realism of this man's seemingly angry state. The speaker sees that this man's anger has exceeded his "mental vision", shall we say. The man isn't sure of what he's doing, except that he must do something to feed and calm the anger.
I'm sorry if this doesn't help, but that's how I see it as realism.

Some of the original settlers were the Highland Scots, Salzburgers and Malcontents. Which groups agreed on the colony rules? Wha
Inga [223]
These groups helped to settle Georgia. Many disliked the inability to have trade rum with Native Americans, trading with the Natives required a license (another tax), and how slavery was illegal (indentured servants were ok though). Mainly the malcontents disliked the no slavery rule. They also wanted large plantations. This led to most of the Malcontents to leave and settle in South Carolina. Their writings about how horrible Georgia was led to fewer settlers.
