Elenna [48]

Answer:

B) 6

Step-by-step explanation:

7\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{5}) + 1\frac{1}{2}

convert mixed fractions to improper

= \frac{15}{2}(\frac{3}{5}) + \frac{3}{2}

multiply numerators 15*3 and denominators 2*5 where you multiply fractions

= \frac{45}{10} + \frac{3}{2}

find a common denominator, 10. for 3/2, multiply top and bottom by 5.

= \frac{45}{10} + \frac{15}{10}  = \frac{45+15}{10}

= \frac{60}{10}

= 6  <= reduced to lowest terms

Help! Perimeter and Area please.
expeople1 [14]
Area should be 51? (base times height and I divided the shape into two different shapes then added together) and I get 43 for the perimeter...I’m not certain in the perimeter is correct though so I apologize if it is incorrect. I can’t remember if you count the actual bordering red squares or if you only count the while squares AROUND the red squares....
