Midpoint Formula: $(\frac{x_{1} + x_{2} }{2} , \frac{y_{1} + y_{2} }{2})$

Consider R (3, 4) as the first point and S (-5, 5) as the second point, then:

M = $(\frac{3 + (-5) }{2} , \frac{4 + 5 }{2})$

   =  $(\frac{-2) }{2} , \frac{9 }{2})$

   = (-1, 4.5)
