Suppose that circles R and S have a central angle measuring 125°. Additionally, circle R has a radius of 2 3 feet and the radius

of circle S is 3 4 feet. If the length of the intercepted arc for circle R is 4 9 π feet, what is the length of the intercepted arc for circle S?

Let
rR--------> radius of the circle R
rS-------> radius of the circle S
LR------> the length of the intercepted arc for circle R
LS------> the length of the intercepted arc for circle S

we have that
rR=2/3 ft
rS=3/4 ft
rR/rS=8/9--------> rS/rR=9/8
LR=(4/9)π ft

we know that
if Both circle R and circle S have a central angle , the ratio of the radius of circle R to the radius of circle S is equals to the ratio of the length of circle R to the length of circle S

rR/rS=LR/LS--------> LS=LR*rS/rR-----> [(4/9)π*9/8]----> (1/2)π ft

the answer is
the length of the intercepted arc for circle S is (1/2)π ft

Plz help cause idk what to do
mixer [17]

Answer:

-9.5 + 6x ≥ 42.1

6x ≥ 51.6

x ≥ 8.6

Here, we can see that x is greater than or equal to 8.6. So, we can say that 8.6 is the lowest value of x

but we have 2 options with 8.6 as the lowest term, we can see that the brackets are different in the beginning

the '[' bracket tells us to include 8.6 in the values of x whereas the '(' bracket tells to exclude 8.6 from the possible values of x

since we know that x is greater than or equal to 8.6, we will use the '[' bracket

Hence, b is your answer

Imagine two lines intersect. How can the properties of linear pairs and vertical angles help to determine the angle measures cre
Vikentia [17]

Answer:When two lines intersect they form two pairs of opposite angles, A + C and B + D. Another word for opposite angles are vertical angles. Vertical angles are always congruent, which means that they are equal. Adjacent angles are angles that come out of the same vertex.

Solve the following problem, using mixed number format.

2 and 1/2 + 1 and 1/16 =
77julia77 [94]

Step-by-step explanation:

2 1/2 + 1 1/16

Adding whole number parts and fraction parts together,

(2+1) + (1/2 + 1/16)

= 3 + (1*8/2*8 + 1/16)

= 3 + (8/16 + 1/16)

= 3 + 9/16

= 3 and 9/16
