in great expectations, while living in london, pip believes that he belongs with estella and that they would be blissfully happy

Pip admit to himself that any time he spends with her he himself is constantly miserable.

Write a short note on Great Expectations.

Great Expectations is famous as Charles Dickens' twelfth and penultimate finished book. It features Pip, an orphan with the moniker, going to school. The protagonist of the book is an English orphan named Pip, who grows wealthy, deserts his true friends, and is ultimately humbled by his own conceit. It also introduces Miss Havisham, one of literature's more colorful characters.

Great Expectations' moral message is straightforward: love, loyalty, and conscience come before social mobility, material wealth, and class. Dickens gave the book two different conclusions. In the first, Pip stays unmarried while Estella gets remarried. Dickens predicts that the two will wed in the second. There are arguments on both sides regarding the appropriate conclusion.

Answer:

stereotype

Explanation:

Blake has a stereotype for women. A stereotype is an untrue belief or rushed assumption about a group of people based on particular experiences or "surface" experiences with one or two members of the group. In social psychology, it is seen as over generalized belief about a particular group. People who have stereotypes have expectations about a group based on what they have heard or experienced with a member of the group. Expectations could be personality, preferences, beliefs etc. In the example Blake has a stereotype because he believes all women(group) are quiet and don't like to speak up since his mother and sister don't like to speak up
