Four ways in which missionaries helped the Catholic church are mentioned below:-

1. Several reforms and seminars took place- At that time most of the priest were uneducated and the literacy rate was poor there was a requirement for the education to be spread out.

So for this purpose, many reforms came into existence to standardised the education in the area. This would fulfil the requirements of education among the priest.

2. Spiritual movement took place- There were so many reforms carrying out in Rome. The circumstances were worse as Rome was not able to combat. The spiritual movement took place to bring peace and guide several movements.

3. Political reforms came into existence- Many policies was implemented to standardise the relations both internal and external.

4. Religious Order reform- Under this many religious order became corrupt so for giving motivation,  this reform tried to combat against worst abuses .
