Answer: c. Ethnic tradition

Explanation:

The Philippians are an island nation located in South-East Asia and are the world's 5th largest island nation. They were colonized by the Spanish and then by the United States after the latter defeated the former in the Spanish-American War of 1898.

This meant that Filipinos were influenced to some degree, by the Spanish and the Americans and so have certain practices that are influenced by the two foreign cultures.

Art production in the Philippians however, is not one of these. The Filipinos were influenced by their geographical location and experiences which makes this an Ethnic tradition.

ASAP PLSS HELP DUE TODAY when and how does drug abuse start and progress?
Mnenie [13.5K]

Answer:

Studies such as the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, formally called the National Household Survey on Drug Abuse, reported by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, indicate that some children are already abusing drugs at age 12 or 13, which likely means that some begin even earlier. Early abuse often includes such substances as tobacco, alcohol, inhalants, marijuana, and prescription drugs such as sleeping pills and anti-anxiety medicines. If drug abuse persists into later adolescence, abusers typically become more heavily involved with marijuana and then advance to other drugs, while continuing their abuse of tobacco and alcohol. Studies have also shown that abuse of drugs in late childhood and early adolescence is associated with greater drug involvement. It is important to note that most youth, however, do not progress to abusing other drugs.

Explanation:

i picked these because to me they are super important and of course they contribute to human expierences.

The occipital lob: This is found in the back of the brain. the area is in involved with the brains ability to recognise objects. It is responsible for our vision.

Temporal Lob: The temporal lobes are found on either side of the brain and just above the ears. The temporal lobes are responsible for hearing, memory, maning, and language. They also play a role in emotion and learning. The temporal lobes are concerend with interpreting and processsing auditory stimuli.

Select the correct answer.
kaheart [24]

Answer:

The answer is letter A, sleepiness.

Explanation:

The "Fight-or-Flight Response" is a response of an organism to stress. When this happens, the body shows several signs and symptoms which involve cool and pale skin, sweating, dry mouth, dilated pupils, etc.

Under stress, the body releases a hormone called "adrenaline." This hormone is responsible for a temporary heart rate increase.

The breathing or respiratory rate also increases. This is the body's coping mechanism in order to increase "oxygen" intake. The oxygen is used by the muscles as a preparation to fight or flee from the situation.

Thus, letter A is the only incorrect effect of the fight-or-flight response.

The nurse is caring for a patient who is scheduled for a computed tomography (CT) scan of the brain because of new onset of head
BigorU [14]

Answer:B---You will need to hold your head completely still during the examination

Explanation:

A CT scan of the brain is a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses special X-rays measurements to produce cross sectional images of the brain so as to provide an extra detailed information or data about brain tissue and structure concerning issues related to injuries or diseases of the brain.

During a brain CT, the X-ray beam moves in a circle around the body, and the scanner of the Ct SCAN xray starts to rotate around the body detecting the marked brain's tissues and then transmits the data to the computer. The computer will transmit the data fed into it into an image containing information that can interpreted by the radiologist.

One important procedure amongst others is to remain very still during the procedure so as to allow the right view to be captured by the scanner.
