The Bourbon Triumvirate attempt to shape The New South was bringing industry into the south.

After reconstruction forms the Bourbon Triumvirate. It includes Joseph Brown, John Gordon, and Alfred Colquitt. These three aimed for a stronger economic ties with the North. Still, they preferred to have some traditions of south such as white supremacy.

The major focus on economy of south was to bring industry into it. The south economy was dependent on agriculture before the civil war. Unlike the North, there were no much mills or factories.

The south would be able to produce their own goods to satisfy their needs as they already have the required resources with them.
