Hello I’m in algebra and I need help on questions I’ll give brainlist ASAP ANSWER PLSSSSSSS!…
sergij07 [2.7K]
Hi,
so you have two triangles of the same side on two sides of the shape.
The shape is the same size split in half.

So 5cm is added twice
then you consider the other time so that’s twice again.
Then you do the same with 15
so it should be
15
5 5
4.6 4 15 4 4.6
5. 5
15

then you just solve for the area

Please help! What are the independent and dependent variables of this problem?
Vsevolod [243]

Answers:

  • Independent Variable = time = t
  • Dependent Variable = height = h(t)

======================================================

Explanation:

The horizontal axis always represents the independent variable. Often it is x, but in this case, it's t. The time value does not depend on the height. Time does it's own thing.

The height depends on the time value. The vertical axis, or y axis, is always representing the dependent variable. The notation h(t) helps us see that h must be paired with t, in order to find the value of h so to speak. As the time value changes, so does the height of the ball.
