The carrying capacity of the nation cannot adequately supply the required quantity of food for each household posing a lot of threat and competition on human population. The available resources is not enough to sustain the masses. Food is therefore the greatest challenge in managing human population.

Food is very vital and important for survival. Each man need 2500kcal of energy a day to carry out his/her day to day activity.

A man not well fed cannot carry out is normal body physiological function and activities.

A man that is malnurished has low immunity against disease as a man diet helps build our immune systems. When immunity is low an individual is prone to various disesease.

Food defiiciency such as kwashiorkior,Berries, Ricket is associated to malnurished person.

When a man is well fed and strong he can work to get other neccessities in his/her life such as houses,cloth,cars. An individual who is not strong and healthy cannot go out to get all his needs this can follow a saying health is wealth.
