Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3*2x=6x, 3*5=10

So, 6x+10+4x = 5x+15

Add 6 and 4 which leaves you with 10x+10 = 5x+15

subtract 10 from 15 and that leaves you with 5 divided by 10x

x=2

Same for second equation

2*8x=16x and 2*3= 6

So 16x-6=16x+28

Add 6 to both sides so you get 34.

Now that 6 is gone you want x on one side so subtract 16x an it leaves you with 0. so X=34

  • 3(2x-5)+4x=5x+15\\6x-15+4x=5x+15\\6x-15+4x-5x-15=0\\6x+4x-5x-15-15=0\\5x-30=0\\5x=30\\x=30/5\\x=6
  • 2(8x-3)=4(4x+7)\\16x-6=16x-28\\16x-16x=6-28\\0\neq -22 its soluion does not exist

write an absolute value equation to calculate the distance between the two points (4, -2) and (-9, -2)
meriva

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  d = |-9-4| = 13

Step-by-step explanation:

The y-values are the same for the two points, so the distance between them on that horizontal line is the difference of x-values.

  d = |(-9) -(4)|

  d = |-13| = 13

The distance between the points is 13 units.

x^4 + 7x^3 + 12x^2

Simplifying

x4 + 7x3 + 12x2

Reorder the terms:

12x2 + 7x3 + x4

Factor out the Greatest Common Factor (GCF), 'x2'.

x2(12 + 7x + x2)

Factor a trinomial.

x2((4 + x)(3 + x))

Final result:

x2(4 + x)(3 + x)
