4. Did the complete process of photosynthesis take place in the way you modeled it in this activity? Explain your answer.
Dafna1 [17]
Well I dont know exactly how you modeled your model in this activity (also, I notice this is a question from 2016), but I do know the two processes.

This is the process of making glucose in plants. Photosynthesis goes through two individual stages:
Stage 1: Light dependent reaction (depends on the presence of light; it can’t happen in the dark)
Stage 2: Light independent (dark reaction) (works in the absence of light, but calling it a dark reaction might be misleading; It can just as well happen in the presence of light).

The domestic cat genome contains 2.9×109 base pairs. The length of linker DNA in mammals is 50 base pairs. Approximately how man
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

Number of nucleosomes in 2.9 * 10^9bp is equal to 1.47 * 10^7

Explanation:

For wounding one nucleosome, total length of DNA required is equal to 146 bp

The length of linker DNA in mammals is equal to 50 bp

Thus , the total length of DNA that confides between two nucleosome is equal to the sum of wounding length of DNA and the linker length

= 146 + 50\\= 196bp

Thus, in 196bp length of DNA, the total number of nucleosomes is equal to 1

Thus, number of nucleosomes in 2.9 * 10^9bp is equal to

\frac{2.9* 10^9}{196} \\1.47 * 10^7

Which characteristic is most consistent with anorexia nervosa?
Bumek [7]
The body size overestimation is most consistent characteristics with anorexia nervosa. The anorexia nervosa is a mental and perhaps life-threatening eating condition distinct by an very low body weight comparative to stature in which this is called body mass index and is a role of an individual height and weight, risky and unnecessary weight loss, irrational fear of weight gains and misleading awareness of self-perception and body. The person who undergo from anorexia nervosa demonstrate an obsession with a thin figure and unusual eating patterns and is interchangeable with the term anorexia which talk about to self-starvation and deficiency of appetite.

Effectus [21]

Answer:

C. The differences between the observed and expected counts are too large to be attributed to chance.

Explanation:

The p-value of the statistic represents the chance that the observed count is based on luck or chance. When p value too high, the research can't be used since the chance that its not represent real condition are too high. Most researchers use 5% (0.05) as the cutoff of something called statistically significant. In this research, the p-value is 0.04 or 4%, so it is statistically significant.
