Answer:a. What ethical matters should David consider before beginning to see Steve and his wife?

-His own values may actual pollute his judgement whilst dealing with the clients hence he must make sure that his own values are in check and they don't cloud his judgements.

- Avoid cultural biases and actual try to understand their cultural background and not judge them based on that.

- avoid taking side and letting the other client get better at the expense of the other party in the relationship.

b. What special issues of confidentiality may arise in the case? How should David address these issues?

- David is required to keep things confidential between him and the clients unless if there is an issue of abuse between the spouse under which he has a duty to warn them about actions that may need to be taken

Explanation:c. How might differences in personal values and gender/cultural issues create ethical dilemmas in this case?

- David is required by the law not to judge his clients based on their religion, race, culture ,gender, age, education but he is supposed to be neutral in the situation and in his assistant to the clients.

- David can't allow his personal values or cultural values to take over the sessions with his clients but he must open up to a neutral positions, in which he listens to them in a non bias way and take all their sides into consideration without clouding the whole situation with his own personal ground.
