column has entries 1 bathroom, 2 bathrooms, 3 bathrooms, total. The second column is labeled 1 bedroom with entries 67, 0, 0, 67. The third column is labeled 2 bedrooms with entries 21, 6, 18, 45. The fourth column is labeled 3 bedrooms with entries 0, 24, 16, 40. The fifth column is labeled 4 bedrooms with entries 0, 0, 56, 56. The sixth column is labeled Total with entries 88, 30, 90, 208. Answer:

The probability is 0.8

Step-by-step explanation:

  • if u see the table clearly, there are 30 houses in total with 2 bathrooms.
  • by the general definition of probability,

probability of an event P =\frac{Number of desirable observations}{total number of observations}

  • so, here 30 will be the denominator in the above formula(by definition).
  • from the table, in the 3rd column and 2nd row (desirable box) i.e, the one which represents 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, has the entry as 24.
  • so, the numerator for above given formula will now become 24.

therefore probability P=\frac{24}{30} =\frac{8}{10} =0.8

  • So, the probability is 0.8.

If 6 people want to share a 30 pound bag of beans equally by weight how many pounds of beans should each person get? Between wha
sertanlavr [38]

Answer:

The 6 people would each get 5lb. of beans. 5 lies between 4 and 6.

Step-by-step explanation:

To get the answer to this problem, all you have to do is divide the total pounds of beans by how many people there are. 30 ÷ 6= 5, so each person would get 5 pounds. Since 5 comes between 4 & 6, you can use that as your answer.
