we can prove that the two triangles within the triangle are congruent (the triangle is an isosceles) with SAS. then we do 180- (63 x 2). then we get the top angle. and then we divide 54 by 2 to make the individual angles and then we get 27.

2. b + v = 15

isolate one variable and substitute it in to an equation:

b = 15 - v

sub “b” into first equation above:

150 = 8v + 14 ( 15 - v)
150 = 8v + 210 - 14v
-60 = -6v
10 = v

sub “v” into equation 2

b = 15 - v
b = 15 - (10)
b= 5

there will be 5 buses and 10 vans to hold 150 students.
