Once it expires, yes it is believed you can.
OK so basically as we age are muscles and bones tend to become weaker and as that happens injuries may occur more often and usually we can no longer heal fully/properly because our bodies can no longer keep up with the injury.
The best way to do that is to cook the amount of food that you know you SHOULD eat, not how much you WANT to eat.
If you don't cook more food than you should eat, then you can't eat more than you should.
