Incredibly lucky earth facts ?

Biology

Answer:

Explanation:

 1. We take green for granted, but green is an important color. It is nature's sign that sunlight, carbon dioxide and water are being converted into plant food by photosynthesis — the process that provides the basis for animal life. Early in the planet's history, life may have been purple, one theory goes, assuming microbes used some molecule other than chlorophyll. Who knows if purple would have tasted good!
 2. Earth was formed about 4.54 billion years ago. It took hundreds of millions of years before simple life forms appeared. However, it wasn't until very recently — around 585 million years ago — that any advanced multicellular animal life developed, and these were just tiny sluglike creatures the size of a pill. Humans have walked the surface of Earth for an eye-blink of geologic time — perhaps 4 million years. If our star and our world had shorter life spans — as many do — we'd never have gotten on our own two feet and developed brains big enough to ponder just how lucky we are to be here.
 3. There's a reason we've found life on Earth and nowhere else. Our world orbits the sun at just the right distance — not too hot, not too cold. This habitable zone is where water can exist in liquid form — a basic requirement for life. Nobody is bragging about their oceanfront property on Mars or the cool breeze on Venus.

Suppose that the farmer is growing rice crop. If he bought 5 kg seeds at Rs. 100 per kilogram, then how much net money will he g
ANEK [815]

Answer:

The net money the farmer will get

= Rs. 39,500

Explanation:

The farmer bought 5 kg seeds of rice at Rs. 100 per kg.

Cost price = 5 × 100 = Rs. 500

And he plants them and harvests 1000 kg of rice grains for sale, which he sells for Rs. 40 per kg

Selling price = 1000 × 40 = Rs. 40,000

The farmer's net profit

= (Selling Price) - (Cost Price) = 40,000 - 500 = Rs. 39,500

Hope this Helps!!!

A Paramecium has an internal sucrose concentration of 0.040 M, a glucose concentration of 0.035 M, and a fructose concentration
Nadusha1986 [10]

Answer:

c. Sucrose and glucose

Explanation:

The paramecium is a large, single-celled microbes, surrounded by a plasma membrane. Simple diffusion occurs in cells across plasma membranes, as a form of passive transport. In diffusion, solutes move from regions of high concentration to regions of low concentration across the plasma membrane.

Here, the internal environment has higher concentrations of sucrose and glucose, but lower concentrations of fructose, thus the solutes will move along their concentration gradient, to where the concentrations are lower. In order for the fructose molecules to move out of the cell, the molecules have to move against their concentration gradient - a process requiring energy known as active transport.
