Answer:

Some sodium channels have been inactivated and cannot be reopened immediately.

Explanation: A stimuli is a term used to describe any sensation on a living organism such as plants or animals which is likely to create a form of response or responses by that living organism.

Sodium channels are specifically connected with stimuli transfer, once the intervals between stimuli decrease it will affect the response provided as the sodium channels may not be able to reopen immediately in order to manage the next stimuli.

Which factor caused higher oil prices to directly lead to inflation?
IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

Companies passed on production and transportation costs to consumers

Explanation:

An increase in oil prices will add to a higher inflation level. This is on the grounds that transport costs will rise prompting more increased prices for many products. This will be cost-push inflation which is very unique to inflation brought about by rising aggregate excess/demand growth.

Consumers will see a decline in unrestricted income. They bear a higher cost of transportation, yet don't have the compensation of income rise. Higher oil costs can prompt slower economic development – especially an issue if consumer spending is less.

Why did the application of Missouri territory for statehood cause two years of intense debate? (5 points) It applied to become a
masha68 [24]

Answer:

Congress was concerned about how admitting it as a slave state would affect representation and the balance of power between states.

Explanation:

During that period, Missouri was a huge area that was called Missouri Territory and by 1819, there were enough people in part of that so it could be considered a state. But to be considered a state the Congress had to approve it.

In that period there was a struggle between free states and pro-slavery states the union wanted a balance between those two and the addition of a new state could ruin that balance.

The admission of Missouri would have added a slave state to the Senate and left northern non-slave states as a minority. This is the reason the application of Missouri caused a two-year debate.

Answer:

puffery

Explanation:

The word puffery is used to denote an undue or exaggerated praise. Puffery is a marketing strategy, using which commercial entities advertise their product as best or unique. However, it should be noted that puffery is neither deceptive nor illegal. For example, if one advertises that he makes the best ice-cream, he is not comparing with it others.
