Andrea is a typical 11-year-old whose growing self-consciousness and self-criticism drive her to frequently compare herself with
Inga [223]

Answer:

C) reduce her self-esteem.

Explanation:

Comparison and social-comparison is a typical part of middle-school-aged children. It is at these ages that children develop self-consciousness and self-concept, and start observing people around them as well.

With this, it starts the comparison of us versus them. This kind of thinking can easily reduce or decrease self-esteem - if the child puts too much emphasis on what the others are doing, and starts noticing all the little things that are seemingly wrong or different about themselves, they will become too self-conscious, critical and cynical, and they will develop bad self-esteem.

They will start to see all the good things about others, while comparing it to all bad things they notice about themselves, develop black-and-white thinking, and start having very low confidence.

Citrus2011 [14]

Answer:

The North won the war because of their financial strength and ties overseas and domestically. A large immigrant population with the lack of experience of knowing slavery. Financial institutions such as the robben barons put into ties. A large industry of machinery and weapons was at reach for the north. The Northern states weren't land locked by other neighbouring nations or states. The Northern States were the original foundation of the nation so it made others acknowledging it more than those who rebelled. Alot of foreign interest were put at hand from many places. The Northen States were more influential to the European nations than those who were at the south. Alot of military bases were located at the north with top notch experience because of their coastal grounds and this made then at edge. Their geography defined alot from their mistakes of the war from 1812. The northen states were more modernized than the south and accessibility was at reach. Everything that was in the south was wide ranges of land for crops. Military presence was big but lacked the funding and equipment that the north had. The North was Industrial while the south was more agricultural.

Explanation:

The European nations were a huge asset to the young United states of America and the united states knew that it couldn't lose the south. Their interests rested at their hands for their survival. The French nation however not waiting to know the results of their problems tried helping the rebelling by conquering Mexico and going through the south of Texas to help out the confederates. The two faced French nation failed at their attempt. Viva la france
