Ok so lets start with 2 cups equals one pint

That means 10 cups equals 5 pints

1 Gallon equals 8 pints

Last, 3 Quarts equals 6 pints

Now all we have to do is add them together

8+6+5 = 19

Your Answer would be 19 pints.

The random numbers below represent 15 trials of a basketball simulation conducted using a spinner numbered 0–8. 76645, 46757, 28
mote1985 [20]

Answer: Option D.

Step-by-step explanation:

Out of the 15 simulations, the number with a 1 in them is 7. (are the sets of 5 shots that have at least one 3-pointer)

So out of 15 sets, 7 of them have at least one 3-point in them.

the experimental probability is p = 7/15.

So the correct option is D.

Assume that adults have iq scores that are normally distributed with a mean of 100100 and a standard deviation of 15. find the t
anastassius [24]
The bell curve attached below shows the normal distribution of the data.

We are looking the value of X such as the area to its left gives the probability of 0.75

We first need the z-score which we can obtain by reading from the z-table (as shown in the second picture below)

The z-score is = 0.7734

Then we use the following formula to work out X
z-score = (X - Mean) ÷ Standard Deviation
0.7734 = (X - 100) ÷ 15
0.7734×15 = X - 100
11.601 = X - 100
X = 11.601 + 100
X = 111.601 ≈ 112

Hence the third quartile is 112

At the beginning of an environmental study, a forest covered an area of 1500 km². Since then, this area has decreased by 5.8% ea
Oliga [24]

Area covered by the forest in the beginning = 1500km²

Decrease in area each year = 5.8% = 5.8/100 × 1500 = 87km²

Decrease in the area of the forest in t years = 87t

Area of forest now = y

y = 1500 - 87t

Nataly_w [17]

Answer:

$23.42

Step-by-step explanation:

 • To find the sales tax, you need to 6.5% of $21.99
 • To do this you have to times need to turn 6.5% into a decimal, which is 0.065 (i moved decimal point 2 numbers to the left)
 • then you do 0.065 × 21.99 which equals 1.42935
 • now you have to add 21.99 with 1.42935 = 23.41935
 • because of the context of the question, you need the answer needs to be rounded up to the nearest hundredth.
 • making the answer $23.42 total
