In Euclidean geometry, the triangle postulate states that the sum of the angles of a triangle is two right angles i.e. 180.

Solution:

Given that , Write the given statement of the following theorem. If one angle of a triangle is 90 , then the other two add to 90

Now , We know that , In Euclidean geometry, the triangle postulate states that the sum of the angles of a triangle is two right angles.

So, here sum of three angles = 180

90 + sum of other two angles = 180

sum of other two angles = 180 – 90 = 90

So, sum of other two angles equals 90.

Hence, In Euclidean geometry, the triangle postulate states that the sum of the angles of a triangle is two right angles i.e. 180.

Answer:

The given is that one angle of the triangle measures 90 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

The "given" is the part of a conditional statement that is accepted without proof (the "if" part). The "to prove" is the part of a conditional statement that has to be proven (the "then" part). For instance, we already accept that one of the angles is 90 degrees, so that is the given. We have to prove that the other two add up to 90 degrees.

Answer:

Mandy will take 67.5 mins to complete the 15 km race.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Mandy runs 4 km in 18 min

She plans to run in a 15 km race.

We need to find how much time required to run 15 km.

4 km =18 min

15 km = time required for 15 km race

By Using Unitary method we get,

Time required for 15 km = \frac{18\times 15}{4}=67.5 mins

Hence time required by Mandy to complete 15 km race is 67.5 mins.

puteri [66]

Answer:

M = 4.33885225095

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the square ABFE = 10² = 100

M = 100 - (2P + Q)

Let’s calculate 2P + Q :

The area 2P + Q = area ΔABC + area of sector ACE + area of sector BCF

Note :

ΔABC is an equilateral triangle

m∠CBF = m∠CAE = 30°

area ΔABC  = (CG × AB)÷2 = (8.660254037844×10)÷2 = 43.30127018922

CG = √(10^2 - 5^2)=8.660254037844  (Pythagorean theorem)

area of sector BCF = area ΔACE = 100π ÷ 12 = (8.333333333333)π

then

Area 2P + Q = area ΔABC + area sector ACE + area sector BCF

                      = 43.30127018922+(100÷12)π+(100÷12)π

                      = 43.30127018922+ (8.333333333333)π + (8.333333333333)π

                      = 95.66114774905

Conclusion:

M = 100 - (2P + Q) = 100-95.66114774905 = 4.33885225095
