Answer:

A. The unintended consequences cannot be predicted.

Explanation:

In sociology, unintended consequences refer to a certain outcome that might be created outside the initial intention of the actor.

An example of this would a mother is spanking her child with the intention to impose discipline. But she wasn't aware that the child will grow up while feeling emotionally detached to her years into the future.

This types of things can be really hard to be predicted even by sociologists because there are too many factors that can influence that outcome.

Coming back to the example above, not all children who were spanked during childhood grow up to be emotionally detached with her mother. External influences such as the interaction with their friends, how their mother treat the child when the same mistake is repeated, whether or not the children could understand the initial intention of their mother can affect their relationship with the mothers years in the future.

Answer:

policy

Explanation:

policy can be defined simply as a plan or as a course of action, as of a government, political party, or business, intended to influence and determine decisions, actions, and other matters.

It is put in place to regulate transactions between parties involved.

In most occassions, policies help individuals keep their terms of agreement.

A policy is different from a law in the sense that a law restricts everywhere, a policy restricts only certain places.

Susan mandated that "all customer phone calls and e-mails must be returned within 24 hours, is a policy put in place to enhance customer satisfaction and fulfilment.
