Yasir wants to determine if there is a relationship between room color and sleep. Based on his research, Yasir makes an educated

guess that people fall asleep more quickly in a room painted blue than in a room painted yellow. He asks several people which color they like better—yellow or blue—and uses their responses to determine if his educated guess was correct. What is missing from Yasir's scientific investigation? A. testable hypothesis based on research B. experiment that tests the hypothesis C. variables to be tested by an experiment D. research on the topic to see what others have learned

Answer:

B). An Experiment that tests the hypothesis.

Explanation:

The element that is missing from Yasir's scientific investigation is 'an experiment which tests a hypothesis.' His experiment does not provide a verifiable statement revealing his proposition or prediction regarding the possible outcome of the experiment which could be verified by using a research or investigation. He rather tests his proposition indirectly by asking 'which color they like better' and using it to make an educated guess. Thus, option B is the correct answer.

A sample of c3h8 has 4.56 Ã 1024 h atoms. how many carbon atoms does the sample contain?
m_a_m_a [10]
Answer is: there is 1,368·10²⁵ atoms of carbon.
N(C₃H₈) = 4,56·10²⁴.
From molecular formula: in one molecule of propane there is three atoms of carbon:
N(C) = 3 · 4,56·10²⁴.
N(C) = 1,368·10²⁵.

Jet001 [13]
Okay Elements can combine to created element compounds a few examples can be lets say Gold(Au) Is an example of an Iconic Compound (usually a common compound). An Element Mixture is literal a mixture Ex. Brass. Brass is usually 10% copper and 45% zinc. So in order to get Brass you must physically mix copper with zinc and the other metal (sorry i don't remember the name) Also mixtures tend to not be chemically constant, this is because it was physically mixed rather than all of the atoms be the same if they were chemically combined.

Compare and contrast nitrogen and phosphorus cycles
azamat

The phosphorous cycle does not include an atmospheric component because phosphorous does not cycle through the atmosphere. In comparison, important processes of the carbon and nitrogen cycle occur in the atmosphere

An increase in the temperature of reactant causes an increase in the rate of reaction.
tatyana61 [14]

Answer:

d) The fraction of collision with total kinetic energy larger than activation energy increases.

Explanation:

Hello,

In this case, kinetic models explain how the rate of a chemical reaction is affected by several factors. In such a way, specifically for temperature, when it increases, the average velocity of the particles is also increased, for that reason, the collision frequency increases since the molecules are more likely to collide as they move faster and encounter to each other.

Nonetheless, it is the minor reason because the main reason is that the effective collisions increase when the temperature is increased, and they are related with the fraction of collision with total kinetic energy that turns out larger than the activation energy, therefore, answer is d).

Best regards.
