Answer:

100.8 dm3

Explanation:

mol= volume

       _______

       molar volume

Simply transpose the formula

volume=mol x molar volume

           4.5molx22.4 mol/dm3

=   100.8dm3

NB  STP=22.4 dm3  or 22400 cm3

A substance that contains more hydroxide ions than hydronium ions in solution could have which pH value?
Hunter-Best [27]
Hydronium ions are basically H+ ions.
So if [OH-]>[H+]
This means that the substance is more basic.
 and basic substances a pH>7.
Therefore a possible pH value would be 10.

What is one product of a condensation reaction between two amino acids, such as glycine and alanine?
Ipatiy [6.2K]

Answer:

Gly-Ala

(Dipeptide).

Explanation:

A condensation reaction is a reaction in which two molecules combine to form a single molecule with the loss of a small molecule e.g water.

When two amino acids, such as alanine and glycine react, they yield a mixture of dipeptides (via dipeptide bond) and water. That is, The −OH from the carboxyl group (-COOH) of one amino acid combines with a hydrogen atom from the amine group (-NH2) of the other amino acid to produce water.

n the following reaction, how many liters of oxygen will react with 270 liters of ethene (C2H4) at STP? C2H4(g) + 3O2(g) 2CO2(g)
natima [27]
C₂H₄ + 3O₂ = 2CO₂ + 2H₂O

V(C₂H₄) = 270 L

V(O₂)=3V(C₂H₄)

V(O₂)=3*270=810 L
