The question is not clear.

anyway, if you want to know
which whole number is between 9/4 and 2, i say that:

9/4 = 8/4+1/4
8/4 =2
1/4= 0.25
so,
the whole number between 2.25 and 2 is = 2

How do you solve this 3.7÷(1 2/9 −0.4)?
lara31 [8.8K]

3.7÷(1 2/9 −0.4) =  166.5/45 ÷ 37/45 = 4.5

0.4 = 40/100 = 2/5

2/5 = 18/45

1 2/9 = 11/9 = 55/45

55/45 - 18/45 = 37/45

3.7 = 370/100 = 18.5/5 = 166.5/45

The cruising speed of the bullet train will be at least 170 miles per hour. Use s to represent the train's cruising speed (in mi
salantis [7]

Answer:

s ≥ 170

Step-by-step explanation:

The problem raises the following statement: "The cruising speed of the bullet train will be at least 170 miles per hour"

Which means that the train has a speed of 170 miles for now or higher, knowing this we can pose the inequality.

Knowing that "s" is the train's cruising speed (in miles per hour), we have to:

s ≥ 170

This would be the inequality that the statement represents.
