This is dangerous and can lead to a fatal accident.  One of the most common distraction is your mobile phone. From calling, texting to checking your social media. There are many types of distraction, which are:

  1. Visual distraction means that you take your eyes off the road, it can be looking down to your phone, talking to another passenger, or looking for something in the car.
  2. Physical distraction means taking your hands off the wheel to do other things such as eating, drinking or put on your make up.
  3. Mental distraction also known as a cognitive distraction is when you thinking something else other than driving.  This is including talking, arguing and speaking on the phone even when you are using handsfree.

It is important to stay focus on the road while driving. There are some tips that you can follow such as silent your mobile phone or just use them for emergency only, don't multitasking in the car and pay attention to the road signs .
