R+5/3=9
start by solving 5/3 which as a mixed number equals 1 2/3
them adding 1/3 to the mixed number gives you a whole number of 2
so far r=1/3
but then you take 9-2 and see how many more numbers you need to get 9
9-2=7
R=7 1/3 or 22/3

<u>Answer:</u>

(i) Total cost of the flat is Rs. 540000.

(ii) Expenditure incurred on labour is Rs. 150000

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

According to the question, cement cost is Rs. 112500, which represents 75° in the pie chart.

(i) The total cost of the flat is represented by the total 360° in the pie chart.

∴ Using unitary method

75° represents Rs. 112500

⇒ 360° represents = \frac{112500}{75}  ×  360

                                = Rs. 540000

∴  Total cost of flat = Rs. 540000

(ii) Similarly, to calculate the cost of labour, represented by 100° in the pie chart, we can use the unitary method:

75° represents Rs. 112500

⇒ 100° represents =  \frac{112500}{75}  ×  100

                               = Rs. 150000

∴ Cost of labour = Rs. 150000

divide the number 60 into 2 parts so that if one part is divided by 6 and the other part is divided by 8 the sum of the answer w
konstantin123 [22]
If we divide  60 into say hmmm two integers, and those integers are say "a" and "b", then  a + b = 60, therefore, a = 60 - b.

\bf \stackrel{\textit{one part is divided by 6}}{\cfrac{a}{6}}~~+~~\stackrel{\textit{the other part is divided by 8}}{\cfrac{b}{8}}~~=~~9&#10;\\\\\\&#10;\cfrac{60-b}{6}~~+~~\cfrac{b}{8}=9\impliedby &#10;\begin{array}{llll}&#10;\textit{let's multiply both sides by}\\&#10;\textit{the LCD of 24}&#10;\end{array}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;24\left( \cfrac{60-b}{6}~~+~~\cfrac{b}{8} \right)=24(9)\implies 240-4b+3b=216&#10;\\\\\\&#10;-b=-24\implies b=\cfrac{-24}{-1}\implies b=24

what's the first integer?  well, a = 60 - b.

11. What is a point-slope equation of the line that has a slope of –5 and goes through the point (–4, 9)?
timurjin [86]

Answer:

y-9=-5(x-(-4))

Step-by-step explanation:

The image below shows proof that y-9=-5(x-(-4)) is the point-slope equation that has a slope of –5 and goes through the point (–4, 9).

Find the missing side. Round to the nearest tenth
vladimir1956 [14]

Answer:

<h3>             x = 10.0   </h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

tan(35°) ≈ 0.7002

from triangle:

tan(35°) = 7/x

so:

    7/x = 0,7002

    7 = 0.7002•x

     x =  7/0.7002 = 9,9971...

      x ≈ 10.0
