Answer:

2.57 seconds

Explanation:

The motion of the ball on the two axis is;

x(t) = Vo Cos θt

y(t) = h + Vo sin θt - 1/2gt²

Where; h is the initial height from which the ball was thrown.

Vo is the initial speed of the ball, 22 m/s , θ is the angle, 35° and g is the gravitational acceleration, 9.81 m/s²

We want to find the time t at which y(t) = h

Therefore;

y(t) = h + Vo sin θt - 1/2gt²

Whose solutions are, t = 0, at the beginning of the motion, and

t = 2 Vo sinθ/g

  = (2 × 22 × sin 35°)/9.81

  = 2.57 seconds

mina [271]
The relationship between the voltage and the current in the circuit is:
\Delta V = RI
where \Delta V is the voltage difference, R the resistance of the circuit (and therefore, the resistance of the battery) and I the current flowing in the circuit. By using I=19 A and \Delta V = 18 V, we can find the internal resistance of the battery:
R= \frac{\Delta V}{I}= \frac{18 V}{19 A}=0.95 \Omega

What factors will increase the amount of energy by kinetic
marissa [1.9K]

Gravitational energy is the potential energy associated with gravitational force. If an object falls from one point to another inside a gravitational field, the force of gravity will do positive work on the object and the gravitational potential.

In the opposite figure, the work done by the force F to push the box upwards from the ground to the top of the inclined plane is
goldfiish [28.3K]

In the opposite figure, the work done by the force F to push the box upwards from the ground to the top of the inclined plane is 600 J.Option c is correct.

<h3>What is work done?</h3>

Work done is defined as the product of applied force and the distance through which the body is displaced on which the force is applied.

The displacement value from the triangle is;

\rm sin 30^0 = \frac{P}{H} \\\\ H=S =\frac{3 \ m}{sin 30^0} \\\\ S = 6\ m

The work done is found as ;

\rm W= Fd \\\\ W = 100  \ N \times 6 \\\\ W= 600 \ J

The force F in the opposing figure does 600 J of effort to lift the box from the ground to the top of the inclined plane.

Hence option c is correct.

What do you do if you are measuring something and it is between two whole numbers?
AnnZ [28]
Umm, I guess it really depends on what these numbers are for but what I can say is if you put this under physics then decimals are used very often and help express parts of numbers for this particular problem.And if it's directly between the two then it's 0.50 added to that smaller number,I hope that helps
