Surface area of the half-sphere:
= 4pi r^2 * 1/2

r = 15 cm
pi = 3.142

= 4 x 3.142 x 15^2 x 1/2
= 2 x 3.142 x 225
= 3.142 x 450
= 1,413.9 cm^2

Curved surface area of the cone:
= pi r L

L = Slant height
   = Square root (radius of cone + height of cone)
   r = 15 cm
   h = 50 - 15
      = 35 cm
L = Square root (15^2 + 35^2)
   = Square root (225 + 1,225)
   = Square root (1450)
   = 38.079 cm 
A = 3.142 x 15 x 38.079
   = 1,794.7 cm^2

Total Surface Area:
= Surface area of the half-sphere + Curved surface area of the cone
= 1,413.9 cm^2 + 1,794.7 cm^2
= 3,208.6 cm^2
