Answer:

  7)  (f+g)(x) = 4^x +5x -5

  8)  (f-g)(x) = 4^x +x +5

Step-by-step explanation:

7) add the two expressions.

  (f+g)(x) = f(x) +g(x) = (4^x +3x) +(2x -5)

  (f+g)(x) = 4^x +5x -5

__

8) subtract g(x) from f(x).

  (f-g)(x) = f(x) -g(x) = (4^x +3x) -(2x -5) = 4^x +3x -2x +5

  (f-g)(x) = 4^x +x +5

Which of the following statements about trapezoids is true?
maw [93]

D one pair of opposite sides is parallel is the answer because trapezoids are another pair angled towards each and if  you follow long enough they will intersect. A couldn't be true because if ALL the angles are corresponding angles you would need two pairs of parallel lines. B isn't correct because the sides would need to be parallel for that too. C well you've already proved they don't have two pairs of parallel lines.

Hope this helps :)

-GEOMETRY PROBLEM- I don’t understand this problem, can anybody help? The question is in the picture. Thanks! I’ll give 15 point

In tue picture, we can see 2 triangles and they already labeled 2 congruent sides. We also see that the line in the middle is being shared between the 2 triangles, making the side equal. Using the SSS theorem, we can prove that these teiangles are congruent to each other. Hope this helps.
