Explanation:
Protein synthesis is separated into two steps which are transcription and translation. Transcription happens in the nucleus and it includes the encoding of the mRNA with the genetic information in the DNA. Translation begins when the mRNA transfer from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. In the cytoplasm, the protein assembly takes place inside the ribosomes after which they are transferred to the rough endoplasmic reticulum for adjustments.

A villus has several microvilli, which increases the surface area of the intestinal wall for faster absorption of nutrients.
