Each tweet would cost between 1 and 140 pennies you can write that as an inequality [1 ≤ x ≤ 140] Since you can't tweet 0 characters or above 140.

if you want to change it to pounds divide by 100.

A) 1 ≤ x ≤ 140

B) Each character costs a penny, you can't tweet less than 1 character or above 140.

Which shows the correct substitution of the values a, b, and c from the equation –2 = –x + x2 – 4 into the quadratic formula?
Korolek [52]
Well realistically this problem could be completed without use of quadratic equation:

-2 = -x + 2x - 4
+4       +4
2 = x

However, for quadratic equation, there needs to be 3 numbers:

ax^2+bx+c=0

Putting the equation in this form, we can say that

(0)x^2+(1)x+(-2)=0

Taking that and putting it into the quad formula makes:

x=(-1+-sqrt((1)^2-4(0)(-2)))/2(0)

That makes it a divide by 0 problem, making it unsolveable

What is 4278649 rounded to the nearest hundred
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

4,278,649 rounded to the nearest hundred is 4,278,600.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the number you are rounding is followed by 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4, round the number down. So, since the 6 is in the hundreds place, having the value of 600 and since you rounded to the hundreds place, the numbers to its right turn into 0s. They do not go away.
