No, The legal and regulatory requirements for students are not different from those of regular members of the healthcare fore. It is same for everyone.

The HIPA that stands for "The Healthcare Insurance Portability and Accountability" have made a unified rule for everyone that ensures to maintain the privacy and security of the patient's details and is not accessible to anyone except family members and close relatives. If any person or a hospital goes against this law, a complaint can be filed for the same.
