We know this thanks to archaeologists who excavated many places and discovered that many early civilizations gathered around large rivers where they could develop agriculture. This was seen in places such as Mesopotamia, India, China, Egypt, etc.

We know this based on the fact that there are a lot of remains of ancient civilizations which had no contact with each other, but at the same time were starting to settle in into particular places as they grew plants and these plants gave them produce.

According to this theory even children exert their own character when they play they don't just do as they have been taught but they have an active role in how they interact with the world around them.

Behavior Component

- according to this theory a behavior is maintained by the person through how they think and also by the environment and outside social factors.

Environmental Component

- This factor refers to the actual surroundings which has a reinforcing stimuli and all these influences one's behavior

Individual Component

- This refers to one's own personality characteristics and how this define their behaviour and it based on individual uniqueness.
