Answer:

There are four types of references. References from past employers carry the most weight. Employment references include past employers, co-workers, subordinates, or clients. They can speak about your specific employment experience. I use the dictionary as my reference and the reference format I'd prefer is the internet because its quick and easy to access. If you are citing a full dictionary in your reference list, you would place the title of the dictionary in the position where the author's name would normally go, so it would look like this: Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary (10th ed.)
