What we know:
shape is circular
Area=64π yr²
Area=πr²
circumference=2πr

In order to find circumference we need r=radius. We can use the area to find r by solving for r using substitution of the information we know above.

Area=πr²
64π=πr²                         substitution
64π/π=π/πr²                  multiplicative inverse
64=r²
√64=√r²                          properties of radicals
8=r                     We would get two solutions, a positive and negative one                          but we will only use the positive solution since radius is positive

Circumference=2πr
C=2π(8)=16π yards

The answer would be 16π. We can derive this answer by first recalling the formulas for the Area and Circumference of a circle. Here are the formulas:
A = πr²
C = 2πr
Now that we have listed our necessary formulas together, we can use our given information to get our circumference. First off, we can substitute the Area to be 64π, or A = π(64). When we look at the formula for the area, we see that 64 takes place of r². This means that we need to take the square root of 64, which is 8. Since we have found the value of r, we can substitute the value we got into the circumference formula. Hence, we get 2π(8), and when we simplify that down, we get C = 16π. Hope this helped and have a phenomenal day!

So, let's begin...
First off, you must note that the question is asking for the d value when you substitute the value of c(x).
You are given the following information:
1. The c(x) value is already given to be 0.75x.
2. The equation to find d of (any value) is 0.8y-5.

So, substitute the value of 0.75x as a y value into 0.8y - 5. This is because you are substituting the value of c(x) for d. This is equal to 0.8 times 0.75x - 5. This is equal to 0.6x - 5, which is the function. Thus, your final answer is d(c(x)) = 0.6x - 5.

Determine whether each quadrilateral is a parallelogram. Justify your answer. Yes/No? Reason... opposite side congruent, opposit
Alex_Xolod [135]

Answer:

Yes! The given quadrilateral represents Parallelogram.

Reason: The given quadrilateral has opposite sides congruent.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the quadrilateral with the four vertices.

  • Now in order to determine whether the given quadrilateral is a parallelogram or not, we need to check whether the opposite sides are congruent or not.

  • It is clear that the given quadrilateral has opposite sides congruent.

Therefore, the given quadrilateral represents Parallelogram.

Hence,

Yes! The given quadrilateral represents Parallelogram.

Reason: The given quadrilateral has opposite sides congruent.

Can someone please help me with this problem.
iren [92.7K]
X^2 + 3x - 6

This is because x^2 and 3x have nothing they can combine with, leaving them as their own number. 1 + - 6 will give you -5 as adding to a negative only reduces not adds entirely.

Hope this helps!
