All sides of a square are the same so if the length of one is is 11 inches, then all of the sides are 11 inches.
To work out the area of a square you multiply the length and the width.
In this case the sum would be: 11 x 11
The answer to that is 121.
<span>So overall, the answer would be 121 inches.</span>

<span>40 <= x =<100 inequality shows the right answer. Explanation:- Since she has to reach the $200 mark by selling cakes at the rate of $5 each. So, the minimum number of cakes should be 200/5 which is equals to 40. Hence minimum value of number of cakes (x) = 40 It is given that She has 100 cakes this implies that maximum value of x can be 100. hence X can be any value between 40 to 100 both inclusive.</span>

How do I find the length of a line segment that does not have given points?
zysi [14]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

they give you points that are variable instead of numbers

P1=(a,0)

P2=(0,b)

also   a and b are the length of that side of the triangle

so

MP = \sqrt{a^{2}+b^{2}  }

then what ever a  and  b  are.. you're set

to show your work  you could use the distance formula which will give you the same thing above

MP =   \sqrt{(x2-x1)^{2}+(y2-y1)^{2}  }

MP = \sqrt{(-a)^{2}+b^{2}  }

which is just the formula above :)
