34+50+50+50-60+22
You add everything except 60 because deposits mean add money to the account. You subtract 60 because a withdrawal is taking money out of the account. There are three 50s because you deposit $50 each day for 3 days.

Answer:

The account started at $34. Three $50 credits were added. Indicate the withdrawal by subtracting $60 or adding –$60. The check is also represented by subtracting $22 or by taking the additive inverse and adding –$22.

Z^m-n (z^m+ z^m+n + z^n)
rusak2 [61]

Answer:Your left hand side evaluates to:

m+(−1)mn+(−1)m+(−1)mnp

and your right hand side evaluates to:

m+(−1)mn+(−1)m+np

After eliminating the common terms:

m+(−1)mn from both sides, we are left with showing:

(−1)m+(−1)mnp=(−1)m+np

If p=0, both sides are clearly equal, so assume p≠0, and we can (by cancellation) simply prove:

(−1)(−1)mn=(−1)n.

It should be clear that if m is even, we have equality (both sides are (−1)n), so we are down to the case where m is odd. In this case:

(−1)(−1)mn=(−1)−n=1(−1)n

Multiplying both sides by (−1)n then yields:

1=(−1)2n=[(−1)n]2 which is always true, no matter what n is

etermine whether the system of linear equations has one and only one solution, infinitely many solutions, or no solution. 3 2 x
nata0808 [166]

Answer:

(32/15, -2/5)

Step-by-step explanation:

(1) ³/₂x   -    2y =  4

(2)   x  +    ⅓y =  2

(3)  3x   -     4y =  8              Multiplied (1) by 2

(4)  3x  +       y =  6              Multiplied (2) by 3

                  5y = -2              Subtracted (3) from (4)

(5)                 y = -⅖             Divided each side by 5

       x + ⅓(-⅖) =  2              Substituted (5) into (2)

       x  -  ²/₁₅    =  2

       x              =  2 + ²/₁₅     Added ²/₁₅ to each side

      x              = 32/15

The system of equations has only one solution: (32/15, -2/5).
