With your first question, here is my answer. Canada is a nation of both peacekeepers and peacemakers. In fact, it they take pride of it as their national identity and value.

On your second question, my answer would be yes. We need more countries that promotes peace than of war. It promotes nationalism and unity among nations.

FIRST: You had tell the person that you were going to start an action against them to be heard in "court". You had to bring witnesses with you so your witnesses could testify that the person was told why you were bringing an action, and that you had given this person a date, time, and location that they had to appear in court to defend themselves.

SECOND: You had to post a written notice near the courthouse that clearly stated the names of both parties, the charges, and the date, time, and location of your first trip to court on this action.

FIRST TIME IN COURT: The first trip gave both parties a chance to speak before a judge. If the judge felt there was enough cause, that judge would assign a trial date. That trial date had to be posted as well.

JURY SELECTION, TRIAL BY JURY: To be on a jury, you had to be a citizen. You had to be over 30 years of age. You had to swear that you would be fair to both sides. You did get paid. Juries were selected from volunteers. The number of jurors could be huge. Some trials had as many as 500 jurors who had volunteered to judge a case. Only the jury could bring in a decision that someone was guilty or innocent. The judge only kept order, but could not decide a trial outcome.

THE TRIAL: Both sides presented their case. Then the jurors voted. Majority ruled.

PUNISHMENT: Punishments varied. If found guilty, both sides, the person bringing the charge and the person being charged, suggested a punishment. The jury could not choose a third choice. They had to choice one suggestion or the other.

Why are class averages taken into consideration when evaluating hypotheses?

In general, when a hypothesis is evaluated from a statistical point of view, it takes into consideration the measures of central tendency, within which the mean or average, its variances and standard deviations (variations, within a normal distribution, which is known as "bell of Gauss"), is the central value resulting from the sum of all measurements, between the number of subjects measured, either in the population, or in a sample of this population.  

Although the variables, according to the theory of Stevens (1946), to be measured can be nominal, ordinal, interval or proportion, traditionally, it is consider that the most objective is the interval and proportion, since they are numerical and quantitative, and the hypothesis tests that can be applied are, therefore, "robust" that is, they give numerical results, which are always more objective or "hard" (not subject to subjective or personal interpretation)  

There are other measures of central tendency that can also be taken into consideration when testing the hypothesis, for example, the median; however, unlike the average, it implies that the population under study does not show a "normal" behavior, but that there is a positive or negative trend (the curve is not a perfect bell but has a "hump" on the left or right, where most of the results of the evaluated subjects are group, but not all are there as they extend along one extreme or another) in which case, the average of all the measurements, is different by values extremes. A normal distribution will ideally have a similar average, mode or median, all convergent in the middle of the bell.  

Taking up your question: "... Why are class averages ..." - Interpreting your question as the average grades obtained in a course X in a classroom Y with, for example n = 30 students, are considered when evaluating different hypotheses it is because habitually, such grades are awarded in numbers (for example 0.0 to 10.0) and a room with 30 students, probably, can be considered as "a statistically significant sample". Both aspects: quantitative variable (measured in terms of the average of each student) and significant and representative sample (n = 30, enough students to transpose the results to all students in that course), are two desirable aspects of making statistical inferences and tests whether a given hypothesis is true (working hypothesis) or false (null hypothesis), so many researchers might find useful to use these results and scenario.  

Though, in general terms "class" can be any variable measured in any population, so clarification would be useful, to give you a more detailed answer.

Hull is<em> the temporal and contingent rarity of this "essential sameness of human being" in biology</em>. Other scientific basis of the inherent human behavior like <em>Instinctual behavior and other complex behavior as observed has also been known to be malleable and not fixed as opposed to the fundamentalist that argue that this inner human nature is the same and fixed</em>.

I agree with this challenges from the fact that the idea of what it means to be human is diverse and different across culture, people and even the individual. <em>Some culture promote and encourage hostility as a way of defending and expanding itself, while others see this act as inhumane</em>, and some people do not see themselves as deviants because of their believe that they are exercising their human nature. some other basis is upbringing. <em>A child isolated from the rest of the world and groomed into a specific nature will retain that nature, which shouldn't be so if the internal human natures exists and is as dominant as fundamentalists of this idea claim.</em>
