Wouldnt it be 25 because if voth forces are going in the same direction it would be adding so there for it is 25 N.

Force being a vector quantity, they obeys additive properties. Since both forces are parallel to each other(acting in same direction), net force will be addition of 2 forces equal to 25N.

A newly discovered element, Z, has two naturally occurring isotopes. 90.3 percent of the sample is an isotope with a mass of 267
blsea [12.9K]
atomic mass=percentage of isotope a * mass of isotope a + percentage of isotope b * mass of isotope b+...+percentage of isotope n * mass of isotope n.

Data:
mass of isotope₁=267.8 u
percentage of isotope₁=90.3%

mass of isotope₂=270.9 u
percentage of isotope₂=9.7%

Therefore:

atomic mass=(0.903)(267.8 u)+(0.097)(270.9 u)=
=241.8234 u + 26.2773 u≈268.1 u

Answer: the mass atomic of this element would be 268.1 u

(Sorry about the underscores; the spacing doesn't work if I don't include them)

This compound is a derivative of ethene, which is CH2=CH2. In place of the fourth H atom, CH3 has a lone pair (as shown in the above formula). Or, it can be bonded to another compound as well in that empty spot.

A. If both Assertion & Reason are true and the reason is the correct explanation of the assertion. B. If both Assertion &amp
Fofino [41]

Answer:

D- Assertion is false and Reason is true

Explanation:

Precipitation is said to have occurred when an insoluble product is formed from soluble ones. Let us take an instance;

BaCl2(aq) + H2SO4(aq) -------> BaSO4(s) + 2HCl(aq)

The barium sulphate so formed is an insoluble product obtained from the reaction of soluble barium chloride and sulphuric acid. This is a typical example of a double replacement reaction as the both ions exchanged partners.

Thus, the assertion is false but the reason is true.
