Given

Yeastie boys new album bread and the bank goes on sale next week

They autographed 85% of 2000 copies

Find out  how many albums were autographed.

To proof

Total copies = 2000

autographed 85% of 2000 copies

First convert 85% in decimal form

= \frac{85}{100}

= 0.85

Now find out 85% 0f 20000

= 0.85 × 2000

= 1700

The albums autographed were 1700.

Hence proved

What is the area of a regular octagon with a side length of 6 mm and an apothem length of 7.243 mm? Round your answer to the nea
Harlamova29_29 [7]
OCTA=8, an octagon has 8 sides, thus if one side is 6mm, then all sides, namely the perimeter, is 6+6+6+6+6+6+6+6, or 48.

now, we know what the apothem is.

\bf \textit{area of a regular polygon}\\\\
A=\cfrac{1}{2}ap~~
\begin{cases}
a=apothem\\
p=perimeter\\
-------\\
p=48\\
a=7.243
\end{cases}\implies A=\cfrac{1}{2}(7.243)(48)

Use the difference of squares pattern to factor the polynomial.x2 − 16y2 how would I do this
love history [14]
The general rule for difference of two squares is that when factorised it can be written in the form (a+b)(a-b) where a is the square root of the first part of the function and b is the square root of the second part of the function.
From this we can find the square root of x² to find a and the square root of 16y² to find b.
In this case √x²=x and √16y²=4y
Therefore fully factorised it can be written as (x+4y)(x-4y)

The last time brea played softball she hit the ball 35 percent of the times she was at bat based on this information how many ti
WITCHER [35]

Answer:

The answer to your question is 7 times

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Percent of accuracy = 35%

Times she is at bat = 20

Times she hit the ball = ?

Process

1.- Use proportions to solve this problem

20 times will be the 100%  because is the total number of times she is at bat.

                     20 times ------------------ 100%

                       x            ------------------   35%

                       x = (35 x 20) / 100

                       x = 700 / 100

                       x = 7

2.- Conclusion

From 20 times she is at bat, she will hit the ball 7 times.
